Sorry for:

1. conquering the world
2. wiping out indigenous cultures and languages
3. being overly zealous
4. spreading disease
5. enslaving millions of people for hundreds of years
6. being stupid

Hmm... sometimes I feel like apologizing for being white, but then I realize that I myself haven't conquered any nations, enslaved anybody, been overly zealous (i.e. started wars, lynched people, blamed the problems on the world on heathens, blah blah...), and I haven't spread any diseases except for the occasional sniffles and stomach virus at school. Oh, and I haven't personally conquered the world (yet), and I'm what you'd call a WASP (white anglo-saxon protestant).

Is that list comprehensive enough? I think it covers most everything.

I agree wholeheartedly ! All races would be clever, it is not "performing white". so which you have been clever? that doesn't make you any extra valuable than those different young ones, and that they are not cooler than you. Few human beings have mentioned that to my face. this is what they did on each and every occasion I spoke at college:They asked me if i replaced into mixed ! yet purely when I mentioned some thing. i don't use alot of slang. what's incorrect with being a nerd? :) yet i ought to declare that intelligence isn't measured by making use of PHD's! not all human beings needs or needs one. Be the extra valuable woman and forget approximately approximately those human beings. yet performing smug and asserting how clever you're, only isn't...clever.

Stop apologizing. You want to know what I want? Actions speak louder than words. You want to know what is worse than blatant racism? When I work with white people who smile in my face all week but won't speak to me if I see them in the mall. Or who really don't see me out in public because they have absolutely no Black people in there circle of friends or acquaintances. I am suddenly invisible. THAT is in the here and now. Not history at all. Work on THAT, white people.

I, for one, do not want your apology. You have never done anything to me personally. As nice as it may sound, you alone cannot and should not apologize for the ignorance of a few caucasians, just as I cannot and will not apologize for the ignorance of a few black people. May peace be unto you and yours.

I agree with above. Today's generation has nothing to do with the way people were treated before you were born. For that matter where to you stop. Almost all people throughout history have had a bad time.

I now offer a blanket apology to everyone, for everything I've done, everything everyone thinks I might have done, and for everything I represent, or may represent in the future. I never really meant to oppress anyone.

1-The colour of our skin is rather pale.
2-We eat too much junk food.
3-We are all rich and beautiful.
4-Our weapons of mass destruction are better.
5-We make other races feel special.
No worries, mate. Just be happy.
And don't eat too much chocolate. Is bad for your white skin.
Cheers

Why would you apologize for being yourself? That does not make since.

Never apologize for who and what you are. What happened years ago has nothing to do with us.
