I can imagine lots of things better, owning a licensed water slide park. Being licensed to go out in traffic with a paintball gun and shoot up the cars of bad drivers so we all know who to avoid. Can you imagine getting paid for that? Hanging out a sunroof pegging off all those idiots who have been cutting you off and flipping the bird for years?! Oh the fun. Or owning your own self sustaining tropical island no where near hurricanes or tropical storms (it's a fantasy people).
Then there are all the obvious ones...
Peace in the middle East - and in everyone hearts.
Food in every belly and medicine for all that need it.
Individuals helping others, wanting to get involved and realizing that's what has really been needed. We don't need to do extravagant things to save the world, just the everyday ones. Holding doors, carrying packages, paying for a meal for the homeless, giving according to our income...
Since that hasn't happened yet, I'd love the bar to drown our sorrows...

SURE!
Having a local, cozy bar with a multi-talented, always energetic and talkative mixologist, ans a lifetime pass for me and my close friends to enter, drnk and relax, to close down night after night.
It's less the drinking than the commaraderie, the opportunity to spend quality time with good people, in close proximity and in intimate conversation.
Alcohol is cheap--even the expensive stuff. A rare barroom experience where you bond with friends is priceless. For exverything else, there is someone else's MasterCard!
A to dream. . ., perchance to win the Lotto. . . .

I have and hated it. But it was in a town of 94 (yes 94) people. I was always there, and barely made any money. The only way I could stay open as long as I did was by selling guns

Pffft. You don't want to own a bar. You want to own a club.
A bar is where drunks go to hang out, drink beer and eat hot wings while they watch the game.
A club is where women go to get laid.
Now, which of these two establishments would you rather run?
