Why is it that a fat man can still be sexy, but a fat woman is not?

For example, rappers like Biggie Smalls, or actors like John Candy and Chris Farley. All three of them could pretty much pick any woman they wanted, but a fat woman, like Roseanne Barr or Kathy Bates, would almost have to pay a man to date her? Why is there such a double standard??

Anyone fat can feel "sexy" they just have to be confident. Many of the men you listed are more confident than the women. Men tend to be more cocky and confident. Women are very emotional and have a hard time dealing with this.........

There are plenty of guys who like big girls but often don't advertise it. Women find power and success very attractive so they may overlook that they're fat. I personally prefer fit men but would be okay with someone overweight if they were smart, funny, kind, etc. I don't think I could deal with morbidly obese mostly because I would perceive them to be undisciplined.

I know for a fact that Farly had great difficulty hooking up with women.

More than appearance, people who feel bad about it kill their chances.
