These are for NCAA, but I'm sure they mean about the same in NFL:

R--Referee
U--Umpire
H--(Head) Linesman
L--Line Judge
F--Field Judge
S--Side Judge
B--Back Judge

they stand for the position that that particular ref is. for example if it says LJ on the back of his shirt, he is the line judge. im sorry but i don't know all them by heart, i just know what they mean when i see them. hope it helps.
