cute to me refers to something young....you say a baby is cute for example......i prefer pretty out of the 2 choices but i think georgous or beautiful is more appropriate when refering to an adult.....

It depends on who's calling me the word. For a girl, I could care less because it's the same thing. For a guy, I would rather get pretty b/c cute sounds like he's talking about his little sister.

well i'm not celebrity but i would rather be called pretty. It's too childish when you are called cute. I used to like this guy a LOT, and he said all this stuff about girls being pretty and hot and he just told me i was cute. I felt like if i was "pretty" it ment more. so i think i would rather be called pretty

I'd rather be called pretty, because I feel like cute is something you call kids. I'm not a little girl anymore. I feel like people don't recognize that fact when they call me cute. Give me a break. I'm 24.

Pretty, because as you get older you want to be known as the pretty one not the cute one that looks 6 when she's 16.

I rather be called pretty, it is a much better compliment than cute. Because cute is for puppies, clothes, and other nice things.

In my opinion 'cute' is a different look than pretty. Just like steak is different than chicken. I would be flattered to be considered either.
