We would call Avalon Ava for short.

Most of the names we chose are Irish. My husband comes from a strong Irish background.

It should only matter what name you and your husband like :o)

But since you asked, I think Ainsley, Gannon, and Locklan, sound a little like weenie names. Liam and Isaac seem strong names to me.

Girl, I love Azalea. Avalon is a Toyota, Anastasia too prissy, Sienna, too trendy, Aurelia reminds me of Areola, and wakely is a little snotty.

Liam, definately! My boyfriend wouldn't go for that one, so I named my son Eian.

The girls name was harder for me to pick. I like Sienna, Anastasia, and Aurelia. Avalon makes me think of a place, not a person, and Azalea of the flower. I just don't like Wakely at all. I don't think that Anastasia sounds very nice with Jean, and I can't pick between Sienna Jean and Aurelia Jean.

Liam and Isaac are nice; Gannon, Locklan and Ainsley sound more like last names. For a girl, I'd have to vote for Aurelia...the rest are just a bit odd. Remember that your child will have its name forever...so sometimes erring on the safer side of names is wise. Good luck!

I like Anastasia for the girl and for the boy i like Locklan. But its your decision what names you want to pick. But if i was having a boy or a girl with those names to choose from then i would pick the names that i said.

For a boy I love the name Isaac Gannon, and for a girl I think Sienna Jean is great! What about spelling Jean, Jeanne, that is how my mother spells it, and I think it looks so lovely.

Boy:

~Liam (I prefer William, Liam for short)
~Issac (great for a middle name)

Girl:

~Sienna
~Anastasia

IMO, Ainsley is very feminine and better suited for a girl.
