I have two questions really:
1. What is the proportion of gays among the male population in the US or in any other country?
2. What are your honest opinions about gays?
I would like to hear the voices of straight guys and women only.

The first question is open to debate. Some people think that as few as 3% of the general population is gay. Usually, you hear the figure is 10%. How do I feel about gays ? .. I don't care .. I mean, I don't care to see 2 men kiss. But beyond that .. I think all gay/lesbians should be allowed to marry. It is stupid to not let them. They are just people. some are good and some are bad .. just like any other part of the population. Thank you for the question and good luck! :)

lol wow, really ironic how i got hit on by this guy while at work today. Its actually kinda cool and not at all insulting as some suggest cause when u get hit on by someone of the same sex then you know you are good looking. F*** everyone who says **** about gay and lesbian people, who are they to decide whats right or not. As to the population in US, i would say very little, maybe 500,000, in canada where i live around the same or probably less around 100,000. I personally like having gay or lesbians around, i mean honestly ive always wanted lesbian friends (im a guy) and now ive got some so BIG UP. They are some of the most honest and dependable people around, trust me. (im not gay either)

First off I would like to comment on your on your last sentence in your question....

I think you have issues with gays. By the way you pointed out that you were not gay....
I do not have a problem with gays. They are human beings. Nor do I have a problem with straight people.
We are all human beings, and I feel sadness for the gay people. They have to live in shame because of what society feels about them.... I guess shame is not the word to use.. They are not ashamed of their life style. But society makes it very hard for them to live an open life style...
If my children or someone in my family were gay, I would not have a problem with it, and I would treat them no differently then I would a straight person....
we are all human beings and live on this earth... and as long as a person is not hurting someone, there is no reason a person can not live their life the way they choose...

I'm not sure about the percentages, but I read somewhere there are more gay men on the west coast than in the middle of the country. Personally some of my friends are gay/lesbian and I don't think it matters what a person prefers sexually as long as no one is being abused....what matters is how someone treats others, the person they are, not what gets them off....I am a heterosexual female by the way.

I don't have a problem with gays. I think it is up to those people that want to have same sex relationships to except the fact there are going to be pros and cons to their lifestyle much like everyone else. I know people who are homosexuals and feel just fine being around them as long as I am not being hit on. I make it a point to let them know I am not interested and if anything happens after that then they have no respect from me just as I would treat a man who I was not interested in.

My personal opnion is that it iws somthing you are born with--The desire anyway. However to actually act out or to persue that lifestyle is a choice that everyone has to make. There is nothing wrong with being single your entire life. Some people actually like it. I believe that being with the same sex is a sin, but what person do you know of is free of sin? God loves us all even the sinners. He just asks us to come to him---to talk with him and then maybe God will lead them through whatever they should do? For who am I to judge. I love the gay people as much as the straight. I continue to pray for them as I do all the sinners. For I wish that no one would be left behind.

I don't think one way or another about the person being gay just the personality. I am very open minded and I also have a niece who is gay and is afraid to come all the way out of the closet for fear that her mother,(my sister) who is a Baptist minister will disown her. She lives with her "roommate" who is so butch you have to do a double take to see if she is man or woman but her mother doesn't know. (denial).

As long as they don't hit on me I am fine with gays. The thing that I have a problem with is the marriage thing. I do not feel that they have the right to the same thing as heterosexual couples. If they want those rights then they should marry the opposite sex.

I don't have a problem with them, but I don't think its natural. I mean, you don't see gay lions and tigers, right. Or maybe there is. I don't know. I'm not a biologist. As for the %, I would say it is a relatively low number, like 10 -20%.

2. My honest opinion? Let 'em do whatever they want. Why not let them get married? Why not let them adopt? It'd probably be better for everyone anyway.
And what difference does it make whether or not you're gay and asking the question?
