You can't know until time has passed. It may take a lifetime to find a "real friend". People change so much these days or just hide their "true" self that even when you think they are your friend, it can change at any moment. Trust yourself and listen carefully to others. Let them talk and usually you will see signs of their character.

I think if someone is a true friend, they care about you and treat you how you want to be treated and you can trust that friend always about anything, no matter how bad it is.

theres really isnt a way to tell. you just kinda know. i mean theyre some one you can REALLY trust and you care about each other and you always have fun toghether.
