Being older than the average yahooer I remember it well, in fact I still play it. I have just bought the album "Focus Gold" which is a compilation of live tracks (including two versions of "Hocus Pocus". Its on sale in HMV and its only £8 for a double cd!!!!
I actually saw them live in Newcastle in the late seventies. They were immense.
Jan Akkermann was probably one of the greatest guitarist ever. My favourite Focus album has to be "Hamburger Concerto". Its a materpiece!!

Hey old guy! Yes I do remember it and it had to have come out in 1974 or 75. Did you ever see them then on TV with Wolfman Jack on Midnight Special? I did and Iam 48. Yep , still fell the same today as then! Where's the chicks?

I can remember quite clearly their first 'airing' on The Old Grey Whistle Test. I worked in a record shop at the time, and next day the number of people who wanted to order a copy of their album 'Moving Waves' was phenomenal.

I certainly do. Focus were a Dutch group who also had a hit with 'Sylvia' . The lead guitarist was Jan Ackerman
