I'm eleven years old, and I have a MASSIVE zit above my lip. The whitehead has gone away, and it's scabbing over. I used Clean & Clear Zit Cream, and it seemed to shrink. Should I pop the zit to make it heal faster?

Get a rag and wet it with as hot of water that you can tolerate (be careful! This area is super sensitive- don't burn yourself!). Let the rag sit on the zit for a few minutes to open the clogged pore. Gently rub away the scab, and squeeze slightly with your fingertips to remove the excess clog.

Using your nails to pop a zit with cause you to scratch the skin, and might cause an infection. Always open your pores with a steam bath (fill a sink with steaming hot water and drape a towel over your head/face as you lean over the sink), before attempting to remove any.

Wash your face TWICE a day, and use the zit cream sparingly. Using it more than recommended will not work.

I agree with the pro-active. But till you get the stuff, just keep your hands off and keep using what you are.

Acne starts from within. I washed and used products till I thought my skin would crack and I still had acne. Now there is Pro-Active and I wish I had the stuff when I was your age. My step-son is using it and his face looks SO much better.

Squeeze Please ! ! !

I always enjoyed popping zits, the bigger the better. The best one I had was on my ear, not down inside, but inside a fold in the outer ear. It was massive, and when I squeezed the pus out, I got sound effects. I loved it. These days if I get a pimple at all, it's a little nasty one. Enjoy it while you can.
