I am new at this working on a Dell... trying to take advantage of what is free out there.

It has nothing to do with the player (software). It has to do with the video/audio you want to play. The video or audo file (data stream) can't reach your computer fast enough and only 2 things can cause this:
-the download speed of your internet connection
-The speed of the server that is sending you the stream can't send you it fast enough

Usually it's not the player. Most likely it's your internet speed, the speed of you PC, or the site you're getting the feed from is slow.
