Lula government was corrupt and there are people that adore him becouse of social programs.

We actually need more information about Lula. But I think, based on my (not news TV lies) research that Hugo Chavez is the new modern day statesman for freedom and human dignity. Viva Le Hugo Chavez !

Not many people in america know of Lula, and Lula is anything like Lincoln, then Lula would be gravely hated right now, and only years later, will people realize how great Lula was.
EDIT: Well, the social programs fit better with FDR (not necessarily a bad thing) and FDR's govt. was a little corrupt because of the dictorial rule it had over the US in his reign
