It's your EYE, hon. Don't take chances. Go to an emergency clinic. It could be a stye or it could be pink eye, but it could be herpes or a cut or something else. You don't want to risk losing a part or all of your sight in that eye, or have whatever it is spread to the other eye or to some other person.
Also, you'll need to stop using all your eye make-up, throw out what you have and buy all new to use when your eye is ALL better. Plus change your pillow case every day until the eye is all cleared up.
But first of all, go to the ER or a clinic that's open. Get someone to drive you, though.
Good luck, I am sure you will be fine in no time with the right medication.

It sounds like you have a sty (sp?) - an infected eyelash follicle.
I have gotten these before, and my doctor advised me to:
Use MOIST - HOT - COMPRESSES...
Get a clean wash cloth as warm as you can stand it - with warm water...
Then hold it on your eyelid....
It isn't the most comfortable feeling, but it should alleviate the swelling and pain. Tylenol also helps with the irritation!
It should last a couple of days (3 -4) if it still isn't getting better... go see a doctor!

It might be pink-eye, or a swollen tear duct.
If it's just a swollen duct, it will probably go away within the next couple of days, but you should still go to a doctor if you can...
Don't wear eye makeup or rub your eyes...

See an Ophthalmologist. They are medical doctors trained in eye disease and can help. Do not see an optometrist or Family Doctor.

Get yourself to a doctor straight away. Eyes are not something to take risks with, believe me. You may have an infection.

Apply a cold and wet wash cloth, and schedule a dr appt. It may simply be alergies, but if it's worse, you'll want to knwo right away.
Perhaps a scratched cornea (self corrects over time)

Put a cold spoon on the eye to help the swelling... but I really don't know. Wish I could help you.
