How do I know if Im singing in my real voice vs. my head voice? Whenever I am trying to sing along with music on the radio and they sing out of my range either too high or too low I tend to imitiate their voice. Why is this?? LOL If anyone has had any singing lessons please help answer this and/or other people too. I need recommendations and opinions please. One more thing, what works the best to soothe your throat before and after you sing? Thank you all!!!! =)

WATER is good for sootheing ur throat and if people are out of ur range on the radio then jus make it ur range , and practice laying down and singing that helps u to learn to use ur diafram to hold longer notes and also when trying to use ur head voice just think that its all in ur head and pretend ur voice is in ur head

your not going to sound exactly like the artist because no one is the exactly the same. thats why when bands cover another bands song it sounds different. For example, Guns N Roses cover of Bob Dylan's Knocking on Heavens Door
