Have you tried deleting your cookies and deleting temporary internet files? Sometimes game servers update their games and when they do your computer doesn't recognize any minor changes, it just tries to load the game as usual. By deleting your files your computer is forced to redownload the game with the updated game. Hope this helps.
As far as the pop-ups? Yahoo has a pop-up blocker. This will stop pops. Virus scanning you will probably need to download a good virus scanner. Try norton.

Loads are. It isn't you. Make sure you have the most resent Java and Java-Script installed. Also, turn off pop-up blocker until you get into a room. I asked customer care and this is what I got back. Sorry you are having trouble too.

I cannot get into spades anymore through Explorer so I have switched to Mozilla FireFox. It seems to work better for spades. Remember to download the latest version of Java and allow Yahoo pop-ups.
