From nazism to consumerism, we are transformed to consumers , we keep buying as if it is the only means to enjoy life ,, Unconsciously we are under the influence of the media, the messages sent by the media acts indirectly on our behavior and we are far from being achieved beings or free ones,,We are brainwashed every day by corporations to become the matrix reloaded..For sure we cant take the blue pill to know the reality ..

I find it interesting that some people seem to think that corporation = conservative or corporation = Bush. There are several compaines and corporations out there that have significant liberal slants to them ( just as there are conservative). With regards to a question about censorship and the "media" dictating what we see... yes, media is controlled by corporations but if you pay attention to what they say or allow in their broadcasts (or publications), it has a noticable liberal undertone. Now, this may be simply to sell their station, network, etc because that seems to be what people want to hear are anti-government opinions (whether it be Republican or Democrat), but it doesn't seem that the conservatives are controlling what we see or hear. Everyday I see or hear anti-conservative messages. Where is the censorship?

Feel free to purchase their CDs and go to their concerts. You have that sort of freedom.
I personally would change the radio station if I heard these nut bags singing - and judging from your question, I'm not alone. Radio stations want the largest audience they can get - that's what their advertising rates are based on.

I am personally sick and tired of "entertainers" shooting off their ignorant, political rants just because they think they have an audience!

OK - they can sing - they have some talent - why does that make them think that they also have some astonishing ability to analyze complex social and moral issues and spew out their opinions like they're indisputable facts?

Just shut your pie holes about stuff you know nothing about and entertain me - that, and only that, is what you get paid for.

We have no freedom whatsoever if those oversized companies decide what we see, hear, read or not! I call that utter censorship, and I bet Bush is behind all of this just to save his freaking incompetent hide from an already growing chorus of opposition!

do you know anything? It is illegal for that to be in America anyway. It is against the law to have the current president being assassinated in any kind of film or audio device. And why does it matter, just wait 2 more years, like all of you keep telling yourself
