i want to go to south africa to visit my family....and i was wondering if the whole name your price thing works? should i try it?

Yes it absolutely works in the US. I just got a great hotel in New York City for half price. I don't know if it works oversear, but it's worth it to try.

You should consider contacting a travel agent. We work with Air Consolidators that do not work with the general public. They have pre contracted fares with the airlines and depending on availability you can get better prices. Book in Advance!
You can name any price you want with priceline, but keep in mind you DO have to be realistic!

Yes.. since 1999 I have only used them for my travel, hotel, car rental and even vacation packages... I recon I got an avarage 35% cheaper deals than travel againts and other sites.. but as they said before.. be realistic in naming your own price..
I do not know about International travel on priceline. My experience is soley in the US travel...
