Unless it's a party pic of course. I have seen many many photo's ruined by a cig holding in the shot.

I have a few of me holding 2o some odd years ago but, the tobacco was green.

Smoked for eight years.

Take many photos as a hawby

I am a smoker, but you are right that when you look at a candid picture with a group of people, the person holding a cig stands out and sorta makes you turn your nose up. My thought is that smoking is becoming such foe-pa and anti-social, discarded stigma, that smokers are being looked upon as nasty, dirty, uncivilized, and weak. Us smokers are so out numbered now (and kudo's to the non-smokers, good for them, but it is my choice), that we are being judged on a habit, classified socially on our choice, etc.

Not to mention some really creepy shapes cigarette smoke can take. I saw a picture of my cousin with a smoky grim reaper figure above her...and then I saw the ashtray on the table in the pic.

Or how about people flipping the camera off? I see a lot of guys do that and they just look stupid to me.
