I think you did pretty well in drafting in your first year. As a veteran of Fantasy Basketball for 5 years, I know what goes on in various league, whether is head-to-head or rotisserie (points only). You got yourself a good backcourt (ironically from Detroit) in Billups and Hamilton. Although Hamilton doesn't do much but score, Billups can contribute in various categories (Points, Assists, Steals, with limited turnovers, which is a bonus for any player with that calibler). Hughes is a sleeper who bound to breakout again with LBJ leading the team and can help all-around but his biggest value happens to be Steals (he in the top-10 for the past years). Battier should at least be some good sources if he starts. Brand is consider the franchise of your team because of his strong presense of being in the top-20 in scoring and top-10 in rebounding, as well as shooting over 50% from the field and top-10 in blocks. Morrison is a mixed bag because usually rookies don't excel until their second year. Shaq is on the downward side of his career, but can still help all-around. Gordon is nothing but a scorer and nothin more. Childress is a sixth man and playing in limited minutes. Finley is also a sixth man, but has value is Ginobli is injured. McDyess should get big minutes and contribute with the absense of Ben Wallace. Atkins only has value if Damon Stoudamire is injured again.

how many teams in the league? roto or h2h?
a few things to note:
1 childress, billups, battier, rip are all better roto players than H2H
2 kevin pittsnogle? you've got to be absolutely kidding me. you're DEAD at center. with him and shaq
3. on that note, you dont ever draft shaq, especially as your number one C.
4. morrison as your next big? my goodness.
honestly i dont like any of your bigs except for brand. i can imagine your draft went something like this:
1 brand
2 billups
3 SHAQ?!?!?
4 battier
5 rip
i cant even go on. this team needs a lot of work to contend for a title, and will likely finish near the bottom of the league.
okay enough bashing - what you need to do:
1. drop pittsnogle for someone else - perkins, dally, tyson, frye, absolutely anyone else.
2. drop chucky atkins for monta ellis (playing behind baron davis in GS)
3. shop shaq around to other managers in the league.
4. try to move childress, battier, and hughes for another PG (guys who get ast, threes, and stls.
all the best this year - didnt mean to come down so hard, but this team will not cut it. if you want to see a good team, here is a draft i did 2 nights ago:
g nash
g billups
g wallace
g bibby
f garnett
f webber
f peterson
f iguodala
c dalembert
b sheed
b ridnour
b j.williams
thats what it'll take to win leagues this year. good luck nonetheless.

Pretty good for a first year player although Adam Morrison is supposed to be really good he may not perfrom as well as he did at the college level. But in all you have a really good team.

five. you have got to blank up your roster a bit bit; alternate away Lewis and provide extra cash caps for different younger proficient gamers. I might say attempt to alternate away Lewis and Chucky Atkins for Carmelo Anthony.

i always work off of my weaknesses. yours is the forward small and p. concentrate on that area once u start your season. c position could become weak if shaq is hurt or in a lull.
