How do the push and pull factors of migration explain immigration? What makes the US appealing to migrants?

I'm looking at the different theories of migration to explain immigration. (In this question the theory is dealing with push and pull factors.)

push factors-what drives people away from where they are i.e starvation, political and reglious persecution, etc.
pull factors-attract people to a new destination i.e. rligious and political liberty, etc.

If you look at all the area's of the world and the history of the same you would find that the smart people will always come up with a way! Also you have to have law and order. With a free and law abiding populas we grow, but now with more and more corupt leader's in america, the greed and violence is on the incesse because monkey see monkey do! So as for your question, yes people will migrate to where there are job's to suport their family's or their habit's. But with the big business running the government and running away from the country that made them all that money, just so they can line their pocket's with more, we in this country will only have service sector job's left and if they can get cheeper labor in this country, well there goes america and everything else. So soon the only thing that will say made in america will be a hamburger and you won't even be able to afford internet or insurance. GOD bless america, Power of pride and all that jolly rot!

What draws migrants to the US is the availability of work versus where they originate. If there are geographic factors involved, then they are different for each area of origin.
