Whom do we keep? Jeter, Wang, Melky, Mo, Cano, Matsui, Abreu. Everyone else is expendable.

Whom do we dump? Johnson, Mussina, Giambi, Sheffield, Wright, and let's just refuse to pay Pavano.

Let's build a championship team for the Third Stadium.

Glory days? They made the playoffs and had the best record in the American League. They make the playoffs nearly every year. If you need a world Series win to define the greatness of your team, then you are in a world of hurt.

If the Yankees won the World Series every year, then what fun would it be for the other teams or their fans? The Yankees are still in their new glory years. But, I would prefer that they were more like the Yankees of the 80's.

They need a good pitching staff. In their last three championships, they had better pitching, and that proved to be the winning factor. In the subsequent years, their pitching has suffered greatly. They've hit well enough to always reach the playoffs, but they haven't been able to pitch well enough to close the deal.

Not much they can do for next year. Everybody is signed for next year except for a few. They'll let Shef go but the other "team options" will be picked up, I assume. That would be Posada, Mussina and Rivera. So we're looking at the same team next year. Hopefully they supplement with some quality arms.

Ching Ming Wang can't go everyday for the Yanks. ITs that simple, to win a World Series you must have great pitching. Look back and you'll see. 2005: My White Sox did it on the hands of the pitchers.

A-Rod should go. Also, the Yankees need to bring in some better starting pitchers.

they need to quit paying to field a winning team
