It does not matter what party he belongs to, he just needs to be in jail. And it is not the repulicans fault he did it, it is stupid to say that. Like saying "your white so your guilty of all white crimes". And this Demorate lady saying she would change it when she gets speaker of the house? DUH! If she is already there, and had knowledge, why didn't she say something? From what little I know about law, isn't having knowledge and NOT reporting it same as doing the crime? I know it is here n TN. I really do not think there is any difference in any party anymore. They just tell you what you wish to hear. What a novel Ideal, no parties, just run on your record and choices.... So Question is, anyone agree with me?

The simple version is yeah i agree with you, partly because of the way you constructed the sentence mostly because it just plain makes sense. I too am tired of the whole bi-partisan bs but it is endemic to the species, we are of a tribal mentality thats why war and sports are so appealing. Yeah the whole competing thing but largely due to our tribal mentality and war-like nature. To quote George Carlin, war on drugs, war on crime war on blah blah blah. It seems as though we are only happy when we are fighting or biting on each other no matter if its politicians or pedophiles (ooopps)

Well, I agree that voting for a particular Party is a stupid thing, because all politicians have the same ability to lie, cheat and steal. However, in Foley's case the important thing is to find out what anyone knew and when they knew it. If anyone knew about Foley's activities and did nothing then they should be removed from office, and prosecuted for aiding this man's illegal activities. The Republican leadership, ie, Dennis Hastard, appears to have known for over a year and chose to do nothing! The Republicans seemed more concerned with keeping their majority in Congress than on protecting the young pages. The Republicans appear to be arrogant, self-serving, hypocrites, and they should lose control of Congress!

How do you relate political bull with someone who has been trying to molest underage males for years, with his party's leaders fully aware of that fact? And they did nothing to stop him from continuing his pedophilic ways? I agree with you about the Demo-Publicans being all the same liars, saying anything to get elected, and that is a different topic than a Pedophile in a position of power, especially over youths that are working for him.

Throw a man in jail for something that was not illegal, since the page was 18, and not a minor, and they didn't even have sex? WTF?

And, since it was not a crime, it is also not a crime to not report a non-criminal action.

hey.... I was tired of it with Clinton... but that's been a major thing that Republicans have crowed about for the past 10 years... so guess what... this is only the beginning with Foley... like it or not...

ALL POLITICIANS ARE ON THE VERGE OF CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR
THEY WOULD DO OR SAY ANYTHING TO GET ELECTED OR RE-ELECTED
THEY LIE, CHEAT, STEAL ,TAKE BRIBES ----OH, JUST ABOUT ANYTHING.
THEY ARE ALL POWER HUNGRY AND NO MATTER WHO YOU VOTE FOR ......THE PEOPLE GET SCREWED.............BUT WE VOTE ANYWAY AND HOPE FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS.

Me too, I just cannot understand what all the fuss is about, just boys having fun, touching and playing with each other, enjoying themselves, getting turned on, so what is so wrong about that? Beats me.
