Depends on whether you were a juvenile when this crime was committed. If you were over 18, then it is going to haunt you for a very long time. Every job application you will ever fill out will ask about any criminal convictions and you should not lie because an employer will find out anyway if they do a background check and then it will make it worse if you've lied about it.
If you are in college, please try to write using capitalization and punctuation. You already have this one strike against you as you try to get a job. Your writing will be strike 2.

It's good that you're in college. Check with the rules of Court where you were convicted of your felony and see what options you may have to expunge (erase) your record. Otherwise, you do not need to discuss your felony conviction unless specifically asked in a job application or interview. If you are asked, you should be very open and honest about what happened, and how you have learned from your mistakes and are now dedicated to leading a responsible, law-abiding life.

It is good that you are in college. Everyone needs as much education as possible. If you are good at sales there are jobs you can get that ask no questions and give you the opportunity to move up and with time you can live a decent life. Good luck.

I think it is great that you have this opportunity and there are many instances where an employer will look at your degree and see a man who made a mistake and learned from it. get your degree and go out and hold your head high you learned from your mistake and you made yourself better for it.
