I have no daughters (or sons for that matter), but If I had.... I believe your age is the minimum for having boyfriends. Perhaps you need boyfriends that are older than the ones you have been dating in order to find a more mature boyfriend? That's my advise/answer, Hope it helps. Take care.

Summer is best. Lots of things to do, and many are either free or cheap. Everything is carefree & fun - you not only have a boyfriend, but it's easier to find the things that you two have in common, and you also gain a friend.

Winter - well, then it's the holiday season and everything is family-related, and those kinds of questions come too soon. We all want someone to be on our arm when we are at a family party, but too many of us do it too soon.

Spring - it's not called rutting season for no reason. I have found that too many men are way too hormonal and not really thinking of relationships at this time. Wait a little bit for summer.

Fall - well, it would be a good second choice. But, getting too close to winter and the holiday season. Not as much to do - and people in the colder climates tend to hit the bars sooner than not. If you're still single after the summer - then you were a little too carefree during the summer, or just not lucky. Keep trying, but step back and remember to try to not be serious when the holidays come up.

most guys will not be mature enough to have a serious relationship like a girl wants until after high school. This is proably not what you wanted to here but since guys do mature slower than girls this is the truth. Secondly what is your reason for dating? Fro me the only reason to date is to get married. If I know that I would never marry the young lady i asked out then it would be a waist of my time and her time. I did not date anyone until I was 23 because I was not financially ready or spritually mature enough to take on the role of being a husband. It is a lot of work to get along with someone you are around all the time. If you are not to a point in your life where you are ready to commit all your spare time to someone for the rest of your life and the averagd life expectancy is 72 then do not date. When asking if you should date a person or not you need to make a list of priorities such as do you want to go to college if so where and if I date someone will I be able to get my home work done and date and work. Sometimes it is better to wait until you are older and have had time to figure out what you want in your life long partner than to start at young age and possibly get caught up in the momment and do something that you may regret for the rest of your life like marrying someone who really isn't the right person for you or worse yet possibly getting pregnant. These are things that should really be considered when looking at dating. Not all people have sex before marriage but from personal experience and being a man that want to wait until I am married to have sex in my previous relationship with my ex fiance we found it very hard to obstain from these activities even though we were both mature adults seeking not to do these things. What I am trying to say is not that you are not a responsible person but it is hard to control your feelings for another person once each of your hormones get going and compromises your better judgement.

Besides what I have said here you are only 16 and have plenty of time to date so take you time and remember your still a kid so live like a kid. why would you want to take on all the reponsibilities of an adult at such a young age. The average male in the Us does not get married until 26-29 and the average woman 24-27 years old. So do not worry you are not missing anything you do not have time to experience later. Be a kid its the most fun time of your life and definately the most responble free. By the way i am not an old person I am only 26

When and only when you have found out who you are inside, you know what it's like to be just "YOU" and not only "YOU and HIM"
So many times a girl will get a boyfriend and end up getting married so young, that she never gets a chance to find out who she really is, because all she knows is who she is with him in it. Be yourself for awhile and once you have control of your own will and life, then I think it is time you can have a boyfriend if you want! Take care and have a nice night!

when you know enough about your assets and your liabilities. and if you know who you are....then you're ready for a boyfriend. in the meantime just work on you, and improving yourself so you can be at your best when the right guy comes along.

When you're ready--when you actually truly like that guy and don't just want him around your arm because all the other girls have a guy... that's when.

When you find the right guy, who's not an immature brat, to be your boyfriend.

Good luck finding one your age.
