I can play a music video at vh1.com but there's no sound at all even when the computer is turn on or off there's nothing. Do I need some kind of a cd to install in my harddrive? if so where do i get it from. I bought this computer by someone else, i don't know what else to do. This is driving me crazy, I need help badly.

You probably need a sound card. If you already have that then it isn't configured or needs a driver of some sort. Find out what your sound card is and go from there.

my sound didnt work, but i jus bought som $14 speakers and thos work, and for some reason after i got the speakers my computer speakers started workin

turn on the speakers or turn the mute button off. that would help.
