Because any phobia is bad. Phobias are irrational fear and interfere with the phobic person's life.
Disapproval of homosexual behavior is not the same as fear of homosexuals, and is not a phobia. You can decide for yourself whether such homosexual behavior is bad, or whether disapproval of it is bad, or neither, or both.

Because fearing what we don't understand has a long history of violent, hateful crimes. But if that's your thing, then go ahead, but remember WWJD? Surely not fear or hate gays.
