i see this question asked at least once daily and always the most commonly recommended program is limewire. i have no idea why so many people would recommend that, though, because i have done tests comparing different programs and found that http://www.bearshare.com has more files available and downloads them faster than limewire or any other that i've tried.

I used to have limewire but it actually said in a pop up that i was going to get a virus. Itunes isn't free but it is great.

Limewire is okay however, downloading music is illegal so your taking a risk with being sued. Just use ITunes and pay up!

limewire is the best. the rest either dont find any songs or you have to pay for. been using limewire for years.

limewire is definetly the best i got it the other day and it works awesome and i got the free one so ya......its awesome i'm actually using it right now.......ha....anyways ya thats the best one!

www.morpheus.com is what i use for downloading music. It's great, and I've never had any virus trouble.
