You do well to not suggest the bar scene. All your A-D choices are good. The best would be one at which you are likely to find people who share your life priorities. (Ask yourself if you want your life partner to be mostly a social activist, a physical culture type, a coffeehouse intellectual, a student intent on self-improvement, or something else? That should guide your A-D choice.)
Once you spot a prospect, don't try for an immediate pickup. Do something that makes you look attractive to them. (Bring yourself to their attention in a situation that makes you look confident, that's always sexy.) Observe your new friend until you see something you could do that would be of assistance or interest to that person.
Take your time. Class, community groups, and sports teams will meet several times; moving too fast will make you look desperate. (Admittedly you might have to suggest something right away in Starbucks, where the next visit isn't scheduled.)
Check out Yahoo Personals in your area. These days people are pretty frank when they're looking for someone. I met my wife through the personal newspaper ads in the days before Yahoo, and I had a great time narrowing the field down.
The more time you give yourself, the better your result will be. Remember that love is a butterfly; you can't chase it down. Give your attention to something else and it will flutter up to you and sit on your shoulder. Good luck.

Start scrapbooking or stamping or something else you love as a hobby, a dance class, you can meet people at a job and volunteer is very good.

E. If you're out doing something that you enjoy, you're going to meet people who you have something in common with. So choose what you like the best and enjoy!

It depends on what you like. If you hate coffee, Starbucks would not be a good place to meet people who like chocolate milk.
