I know they 'raised the city of Chicago', but was there any other city raised?

This is for a project. In the 1850's, they raised the city ofChicago for sewage problems. Was there any other city raised? If you could help me find one, that would be great.

east st louis ill was raised not sure what year but look it up let us know where you found it.
the cause was a flood

Seattle! A good chunk of the old city is still underground.
