Hi

YES Rabbits get constipated and can even need surgical help to resolve it if it is left untreated.. But what you describe could be other things as well.

You really need to get him to a VET As soon possible.. Rabbits can die suddenly if left untrtreated and this sounds like its been going on for a bit

Call your VET they should have an answering service or after hours number for weekends.. if not call a Different VET..

finally if none of that works call a local bunny place, pet shop, rehabber. rescue ceenter or even the zoo...

Just dont let it go any longer if you love your bunny.
It is obviosly in pain...

Good Luck

Yes, rabbits can get constipated, to the point of needing surgery to unblock the intestine. Change his diet, feed him more greens (Romaine lettuce, carrot tops, fresh parsley) and no more than 1/2 cup of pellets a day. Make sure he always has water available. If he has not pooped in more than a few days, take him to a vet ASAP that specializes in rabbits.

You need to take him to the vet. Rabbits don't make noise unless they're really scared or in pain. Yes tehy can get constipated. You should feed it just a little bit of papaya or pineapple. Take it to a rabbit savvy vet, you can find one at http://www.rabbit.org

ok, first of all an 8 year previous shouldn't "very own" a rabbit. no longer lecturing you, i HATE it while people try this... yet in basic terms, risk is you probably did no longer comprehend sufficient approximately rabbits back then to maintain him healthful. have faith it or no longer, Rabbits are very emotional creatures too. Guinea pigs and animals like that too... Timmy would have been depressed (this feels like crap yet i'm serious right here) because of the fact he did no longer have the different rabbit friends to be with. I dont' recommend friends, i in basic terms recommend different rabbits. Depeding on once you obtain Timmy, he would have been depressed because of the fact he develop into presently separated from family or perhaps different rabbits on the shop. once you purchase a rabbit you will desire to ascertain you're giving it consistent interest. refer to it. Hand feed it (yet no longer iceburg lettuce, provides them tummy aches). Hand feed it wheat and carrots or perhaps clover. pass outdoors and %. some leaves or clover to feed to rabbits, it does them good to have clearly grown issues. it is maximum possibly why Timmy died. it is not your fault! this is step one in being waiting to provide up crying. comprehend that it truly is in basic terms no longer your fault. i'm a 15 year previous boy and comprehend plenty approximately rabbits because of the fact my grandpa stored them on condition that i develop into born. next time you get a rabbit, in basic terms ensure you take care of it as though it have been human *(tremendously as quickly as you first purchase it)*. i could say Timmy died from melancholy...yet next time you would be waiting. :] i'm sorry on your loss nevertheless, it truly isn't any exciting dropping a puppy... -Tanner yet with any luck the destiny would be brighter. :D good success.

You probably need to take him to the vet. Especially if he's crying. It's possible that he ate something that he wasn't supposed to and it's blocking his digestive tract...and he will eventually die. Call the vet, they'll tell you what to do.
