True conservatives are right with you. I mean, I voted for the guy, but he's becoming the most liberal president since FDR.
Get this - the DEMOCRATS are pushing the re-issue of the basic text of conservatism - it's Bible, if you will, "The Conscience of a Conservative" by Barry Goldwater. I mean, this is real Ronald Reagan stuff, and the Dems are on board.
Get the book, read it, and see who's conservative, now!
This should be a real wakeup call for long-time Republicans like me - I'm voting Dem across the board, this time.

most conservatives are so based on moral beliefs, rather than political. that's why big government can be allowed, so long as the morals are upheld. where as liberals are more concerned with squashing religion... very few politicians concern them selves with governmental worries.
