There are a lot of transmission oil from different cos., only we should be clear about the viscosity, pour point depressent in case the oil has to work in places of lower temperatures etc., Taking the case of india servosystem 37 of Indian oil and Hidustan petroleum is Enklo 57 are hydraullic and transmission oils. The specification is essential to tell what is the oil used as speed of transmission, temperature, passages within the transmission system will decide the correct oil.
