Have you checked out the Select Comfort bed? My neighbors had one and bugged me to try it out, now I have one, my parents, and my in-laws have one! They are incredibly comfortable and adjustable, so depending upon your ailment, you can change the way you sleep daily! Good Luck!

Yes go to Select Comfort.com You may have seen these on those infomercials, but is the best mattress I have ever had. We spent years and what seems like a fortune trying to find a decent mattress. What's great about this is if you decide you want a firmer or softer mattress you can adjust it in seconds. Not cheap but it will probably be the last mattress you ever buy.

If you are looking for good back support & reasonable mattress, try SEAHORSE. They have either hard like wood range which is recommended for real back problem people or try the medium hard, I tried it 10 years ago and am still using the same brand.

Look out for their sale in the papers, a few time round the year, good luck !

Since everyone has different comfort preferences, sleeping positions, and neck-back-hip issues, there will never be a consensus on a "best" mattress configuration . . only you can determine that through trail and error.
