Not scary at all. Life is about attitude & how you view it. No costume is going to cause me to be fearful of another human being. A big stick makes a good equalizer. Love Halloween!

It could be scary. Do you think I should cross dress as Carrie - from the film based on the Steven King novel of the same name?
I might well scare/shock a few people by doing so.

It depends on whether or not you consider Death to be scary.
Samhain is a day set aside to remember not only those who have passed, but our own... inevitable...Last Dance. To some that's frightening, or morbid. But to embrace the images of Death is to be reminded of the brevity of the pleasures of Life. It makes Life more valuable.
And remember...
Death is the worst kept secret in the universe.
EVERYBODY gets the answer right.

Not me!
I think Halloween is FUN!
I usually dress up as an off-duty fairy godmother, or an extraterrestrial.

It's only as scary as you make it. For most people, it's fun, not scary.

I don't...BUT I do think it is one of the most stupidist holidays ever. 95% of the people who celebrate it don't even know what it is about and how it came to be. It is just a way for candy stores and dentist to make money easily.
