you need a Pharm.D. (doctor of pharmacy degree)

to get it, you first have to take prepharmacy prerequisite courses which are mainly biology and chemistry classes. every school varies as to what you have to take for prepharmacy, so figure out some colleges of pharmacy you may want to go to and find out their requirments. most schools require 2 years of prepharm work, but some prefer 4. after youre done with prepharm you have to apply to pharmacy school like you would to med or law school. if you get in, that's 4 years long and then you graduate with a Pharm.D. starting salaries like people said are great, usually around 90k/yr and there is a high demand right now, but the demand might cool off in the next few years because insurance companies are becoming aggressive in switching people to mail order (which relies mostly on robots and technicians rather than pharmacists)

First, any major is acceptable to go into pharmacy school, as long as you complete all the pre-pharm requirement (bio, chem, physics, communication, biochem (some required it), antanomy, physiology, etc).
But for me, as a pre-pharm student myself, I major in biochem.

You would want to study pharmacology. Florida A&M University has a pharmacy program.

you have to find a school with a pharmacy major, you'll be pre-pharmacy first and then you'll have to apply and see if you get into the program. i would be pre-pharmacy right now if it wasn't so damn difficult to get into it
