I am never disappointed, when it comes to getting best answer anyways :)
I especially like when I get best answer and a compliment....all at the same time!! Thanks :)

It is just a game not to take seriously. That is why I don't rate ( and get thumbs down myself......most of the time).
It can be so subjective ! Sometimes no matter how good the answer is : the person will choose their little favourite - and I am not immune to that myself -.
A lot of people treat Y/A like personal ads. Good for them. I don't. Lots are looking for "romantic" partners I think. Maybe it will work for some..I don't know. What a silly game it all is on the internet ! Fun for sure !!! but not to take seriously.
I did meet - confession time- 2 or 3 people actually as friends though via discussions.(sorry..no good story to sell to the National Enquirer ) But I bet lots of people will feel very let down if they even dare or try to make a face to face meeting.
You just kind of know in advance anyway with some people that you will never get BA and that the prize will go to some other people.
Yes I do admit that sometimes I am disappointed when someone will pick a very lame answer; especially in the fields where I am more specialised and I know (arrogant me here!) that I do have the perfect answer over some others who just don 't know what they are talking about.
But I forget it.......
One thing I can say about you is that you are fair and pay attention to never give the same people BA. It is a nice gesture from you actually.
Yahoo is about people; not always the Best Answer is given at all......you got it, I got it.

I'm surprised I even get them lol....some of the best answers I get is because I didn't say what the person asking the question wanted to hear so I get best answer so they can ream me lolololol.......
