Chatsworth is an unremarkable place in the San Fernando Valley, which is itself the poster child for urban sprawl. Chatsworth is near the hills in the northwest portion of the valley, so there is at least some pretty good hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing nearby. Otherwise, you can expect mile after mile of mass produced homes and strip malls galore. Due to its location, getting to downtown, the west side or anywhere south is a major problem due to highway congestion. So plan on working/going to school nearby. More on Chatsworth here...
