First, kids should not HAVE cell phones.
Second, no. Why would they need one? All their friends are there!
For those that say, "In case of an emergency," there is NO emergency that you could not use the office's phone, or that a teacher could not use his/her cell phone for.

I don't see why not . We've got guns coming in and out like a revolving door . It's not a bad idea for kids to have a quick way to caLL 9/11 IN THE CLASSROOM .

Yes, they should bring their cells;but they should not be aloud to use them.Unless it is an emergency.

yeah. of course! in case of emergencies. or maybe they're just calling you to let you know that they have to stay after school or going to a friend's house or something.

uness they are paying the bills.. kids should not have cell phones, period.. let alone annoy the entire school population with them

Yeah just make sure they turn it off or they could get into trouble.
