It is just a paper thing girlfriend. Men have no idea of such things. We as women need to just accept men for who they are becaucse they will never understand women completely. So just enjoy the time you do have with him and let go of the petty stuff.

Why is buying a damn card from the corner Walgreens, written by someone else, so important to you?
We do forget because, frankly, we just don't CARE about anniversaries, holidays and especially the dumbest day of the year, Valentines day. This doesn't mean men don't care about, love, protect and would take a bullet in the face for...Y.O.U.
Cards and poems are chick things. Life, love and real devotion are guy things. Deal with it.

Okay breathe sweetheart, some men go above and beyond, I was with a guy who got me a card everyday for amonth leading up to our anniversary and one time he screwed up, nothing major but noticable and I walked into a room full of balloons and rose petals. Men can go above and beyond. Perhaps the message you are recieving is a swift kick trying to tell you to either calm the hek down or move on and find someone who doesn't make you ask so many questions. good luck and big hugs

Because cards are fake and a waste of money. What can a preprinted card say that he cannot? The words on the card aren't his words so why do they mean so much? Anyway, I buy my woman a card for all occasions because that is what she likes. I still think it is a waste of money, but if it makes her happy....

Some men think cards are a waste of time and money.....but they usually don't stay married too long either thinking that way. Others think it's too feminine to send a mushy card to their wives or girlfriends. Still others don't rememer dates!

I honestly don't think my husband has any understanding of what cards are. I get gifts, but not so much on the cards. I chalk it up to men stuff. Kinda like how I think one set of weights is enough?

Have you ever read the book "Men are from Mars Women are from Venus" they don't think like we do. They don't have the same emotional attachment to cards on holidays like we do. It would be a great book for you to read.

They think that sex is the compliment, not sweet nothings whispered into our ears!!!! My dad had me buy cards for my mom all the time, and she was always bragging to me about how good he is at tuning into their relationship, while the whole time I'm thinking to myself, "yeah, actually, I picked out the card." Letting my dad take all the credit!

Some men are self absorbed and think we should do things to please them when their fire dims for us. Remember they are different from us and think different too. when you keep the fire going and they still forget, a real man won't forget a good woman. Men need to remember that we have NEEDS to. we are not robots to be used we are human like you no football player only a soft flower to be cherished and nourished.
