I have tried formingbands.com, and posted at the town hall. Maybe I can find people just by asking here, but I know too much about internet predators to do that. (Must see a picture of you first if I do decide to find people here.) Do any of you have any tips or helpful advice? Please and thank you.

Advertising in a local paper is helpful because neither of you have to travel far for practice or putting an advert in your favourite music magazine with your influences is always a good idea .
And if you decide to meet someone, arrange to meet them in a cafe first for a chat before you audition them and bring a friend or fellow bandmember with you.
Aside from someone being a talented musician its integral to get along with them too.
Good luck, mate!
