I have my nose pierced and I haven't had a stud in there for awhile (like a year) because I got a new job and didn't know their policy on piercings. I don't want to have to go somewhere to get it pierced again, do you think it's totally healed up or would I be able to stick a sterile needle in there and re-open it? Thanks!

I have a number of piercings myself, and I STRONGLY suggest just footing the bill to get it done professionally again. Home piercings always carry so much risk of nerve damage and infection...and honestly, Do you REALLY want to have an infected piercing on your NOSE? Ick!

I can only echo what the others have said, get it reopened by someone who is qualified to do it. You don't wanna go and get a major infection in the end of your nose.

Wow! I think ac has a little judgmental problem! I agree with the people that say you need to have it re-done, don't try to do it yourself.

You should be able to stick a needle in yourself to reopen it. Though I'm sure it will be painful.

don't do it yourself! have a professional do it for you, or when your nose rots off from infection, you'll be sorry. There is a reason that these people are licensed

That is awful why did you do that to your body? Are you into slavery? If you must use a nose ring go to doctor or specialist in that field.
