Well, the reason why I hate the Yankees is because....
First, I am a MLB Fan (Mostly the Orioles) and I started hating the Yankees every since the 1995 ALCS when Jeter hit the ball the Oppisite way and O's outfielder Luis Polonia went to catch the ball at the warning track and that punk *** kid (Jeffery Meyer or whatever his name is) reached over the wall and interfiered with the ball and the umpires ruled that a home run.

I only dislike the Yankees because they overpay talent and steal from other teams just to keep them less competitive. The Yankees will pay someone 10 million more than another team can, JUST so they don't keep playing for that team, and don't even care whether or not they're successful in the Yankees organization.
Other than that, I have alot of respect for Derek Jeter, Mike Mussina, Joe Torre, Jorge Posada, and the true "Yankees" on the team, of which there are few.

All i hear on here is mostly whinny little babies. Why would ya'll be mad at The BOSS, he's a business man. If he ran a regular business and wanted a corp takeover or try to pay you more money to leave the company you currently work for to do the same job w/him, you'd say no?!?!?!? So why get mad now that his Company is a MLB Franchise

I think it's more of a fan rivalry. Being from Boston, it isn't easy to sit in Yankee Stadium and listen to all the jerks in the Bronx.

I'ne always liked the Yankees but since I live in Michigan,I had to cheer for the tigers (it's not often that Tigers fans get to cheer for their team in October.)

I actually dont hate them. I love them. I am the person you love to hate because i like the Yankees and Notre Dame and the Dallas Cowboys. So you either love me or hate me (it turns out to be hate far to often lol).

Because they won it so many times that you just get tried of seeing them. sort of like lance Armstrong i dont want him to win the tour de france anymore. not because i hate him i know he had cancer and ever thing i respect that but he has won it some many times it just gets trieing.
