I live in Guatemala and I want to import stuff from the USA to sell here. Need help to find a cheap product that:
1. Can be brought in a normal flight without having to do the entire process for importing products and pay taxes (just put it inside your baggage).
2. Nice gadget that would sell itself without publicity.
3. High profit from selling it here.
4. Small.
5. Very popular.
I would appreciate good answers please, really need money now. The situation in this country is very difficult right now. I thought in things like cell phones, video games, laptops, etc.

1) I suggest you to check with the Guatemala Government what you can and what you cannot import to Guatemala or you could end up in prison for tax evasion just like Al Capone.
2) There is no such thing. You really need to advertise your product or you won't sell it.
3) You cannot obtain high profits with a thing EVERYBODY can sell. If you want high profit you really need to do some extra work and fill some papers and do more than the rest of us.
4) Size does not matter as long as you can legally import to Guatemala that item.
5) A popular product is in every store in Guatemala.

You don't really think you can travel with 10 cell phones, do you?

Your plan has a lot of flaws.

I suggest you to import used cars to Guatemala from Mexico.

I can deliver them to your front door in Guatemala.

All you really need is a couple of customers, a cell phone and an Ad in the newspaper.

ipods. But you'll have to clear anything you take through in bulk with customs. That's where the taxes come into play. Basically you'll have to pay taxes on anything

I-Pods, I don't have one, but they're really popular, hmmmm you could but them for $250 to $300, depends on which one you get, and then sell them for about $1000, I doubt computers are common there, but hell try. (don't try this, you'll fail, immediately)
