Also when the mailman comes and opens the mailbox, a little box comes up on the side.
What's wrong with mine?
My friend doesn't have an expansion pack so it can't be that, neither do I.

Here's what you do --------
You have to enable those settings
Turn on your game, then go to the dial on the bottom left and pick the three dots - then the camera icon
Then turn on the setting for the "picture in picture" and also the one for the "special event camer"
If your video card isn't good enough, those options will be grayed out. Give it a try.

It only turns into a mini movie during the first successful woo hoo or kiss. Afterwards, there is no movie.
As for the mailbox, the mailman in the game did what real mailman do when delivering mail to rural neighborhoods: he raised the red handle to signify that he showed up and delivered mail/took mail you sent. If you put your cursor over the mailbox and no messages such as "get mail" show up, then your mailbox is empty.

The woo-hoo and kiss could be several things. First, you may not have the mini-movie option turned on OR your video card may not be high enough to support the graphics needed for it. For example, my friend had the mini-movie option turned on, but NO movie came on. However, she just recently bought a new video card, and now, she DOES see the mini-movies. Hope this helps. Ciao!

I don't know about the mailbox thing, but the mini movie is an option you have to turn on.
It's in the "..." section on the navigation bar thingy, and I think in performance options, but I'm not 100% sure. It just has a section where it says mini movie off/on, and you switch it to on.

hmm doesn't do that on mine either. So I don't know what to tell you. I don't know what to do to help you I wish I could figure it out myself. I myself am trying to figure out how to add some things to the game that I just downloaded. So good luck.
