Which city should I go to? I have the opportunity to go for two months. I am 18...I love the beach,shopping, meeting new people, and cities big enough to have something to do during the day/night. Where should I go?Crete, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Paros, Naxos, Milos, Rhodes, Kos, Samos, Chios, Lesvos, Evoia, Aegina, Spetses, Hydra, Kephalonia, Corfu, Zakynthos, Lefkada, Ithaca, Gavdos, Kalymnos, Thesaloniki, Patras, Ios, Santorini, Leptokarya, Zakynthos??? Other cities?

you should check out cyprus as well! they have great nightlife in limassol, paphos, and larnaca!! its really beautiful too! the beaches in greece and cyprus are BEAUTIFUL and warm...and so nice!!!
they have cruises going from greece (i think its athens) to cyprus.
you should definitely go to santorini, and to all those cities! They are so beautiful!
I went during the summer, and i want to go back again next summer! you are so lucky, i hope you have a blast!!!
go out to the clubs at night, its more safe than the usa and they are all mostly under 21. its totally fun! :) :)

What to tell you: some guidelines. That is a healthy list. So Evoia is big very big you could easily spend two months on it and not see it all. Same goes for Crete. Both are awesome. In all these places there is plenty to do during 'daylight" ditto for nightlife. Beaches everywhere. Some places are remote very remote like Gavdos. Some other places are very accessible from Athens Especially Aegina Poros Hydra Spetses. They are all within 2 hours form Athens maximum (Spetses) You can spent a couple of days on each of them island hoping for a maximum of 45 minute each time. You can do the same with the Cyclades the Dodecanese the Sporades (both north and south) and the Ionian islands. You should do Athens and definitely Thessaloniki.
forget Patras although it is a beautiful drive or sail.

If I was to stay for two months in the same place, I think the order would be: Thessaloniki, Heraklion (Crete), Athens... They are big cosmopolitan cities, with a lot to do during night and day. Also, from there it is very easy to go to all sorts of beaches and summer fun destinations. If you're not obliged to stay in the same place all time, then you should visit most of the places you mentioned in your list, but especially those three I told you...

I went to Lefkada last year in the summer.....Lefkada and Kefallonia have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. As far as finding things to do.. in the summer all of the islands are very busy so you will always find something to do. An idea would also be to hook up with a travel agent and maybe go on some tours. They can usually take you places you wouldnt know to go by yourself. Hope you have lots of fun!!
