Well, depending on whether she works or not, why does she have to do them? Maybe something came up and she didn't have a chance to do them. Or she had something more important to do. Dishes are dishes. They will get done at some point. Sometimes they aren't the most important thing in the world. Why don't you and your wife do them together? I'm not sure if you got the memo but you punish your child not your wife. Maybe you should communicate with her better. Did you ever think that maybe you were a jerk so she didn't do the dishes to make a point??

You should tell her that you want to help her with the dishes. You could start off standing behind her with your arms around her and both of you wash the dishes together. Then you can kiss her on the neck and whisper to her how much you love her and appreciate her. Then after wards she may reward you. Why can you think for yourself???? It doesn't have to be a punishment when you can turn it around and make it something she'll want to do.

She is not your child or your slave. You can not punish your wife. If you want the dishes done do them. Marriage is 50/50. You need to be understanding of her.

how should you PUNISH her???? damn dude your not her dad, if she has been with you for a while and lets you punish her she is nuts... help her out do the dishes for her give her a break lazy a s s ,your hands are not going to fall off or anything like that might even help them, but PUNISH her ...GET A DOG!!!!

What do you think she is, you're slave bound to you by a ring and some promises?!!
Instead, why don't YOU, you lazy A****** go and do those dishes yourself for once in you Frikkin' spoiled life?!
Didn't you AND your wife eat dinner from those plates, used the knives, forks and spoons, drink from those cups?!
I think that she should leave you and go with someone else who DOES appreciate her for what she is, a valuable and nice person, that'll teach you some manners and respect!

By buying her the sexiest outfit you can find, set up candles and soothing scents in your bedroom and seduce her. Punish her by rewarding her for smarting up and realizing that since you eat off the dishes too, you can help clean them up.
