I do not support any war, under any circumstances. I think that war is uncivilised.

I certainly do not support your president. I find it impossible to support anyone who wages was on countries with lies as an excuse for war. But most of all I do not supportt your president because of his role in the attack on his own people on 9/11.

I might not agree with all of the decisions that have been made but Knowing people over in Iraq and talking with them I do support the war and Bush and most of all the men and women whos lives are being lost so that we can sit over here comfortably and debate issues like this

I do support my president & troops,& trust in their decisions..War is a necessary evil, has been for years now,the difference in now & then is this..the American people during WW1 & 2 supported their country & President 's even more than present day at wartime, they were united in patriotism,That alone can make or break a nation.

I wish we did not have to be there but understanding the reasons, we have no choice, and we must stay for a variety of valid reasons, until the government is stable and can stand on its own.

I support the President. In my long life I have never seen anything close to this level of malevolence or hatred towards anyone in politics and I can tell you with certainty, this will come to no good for our country and in particular for those who support and encourage it. It borders on insanity.

senior citizen and others like to pretend Iraq was about fighting terrorism. It wasn't, and isn't. The current unelected admin nurtured that lie along.

It also lied abut WMDs.

It also committed acts of torture in the name of my nation.

It also began bursting into the homes of random, regular Iraqis, seizing the men living there and incarcerating them without cause, detaining them for months without charges. Many, let go after many months and no evidence against them, received not even an apology.

This war has given my country a black eye. Anyone pretending this is about terrorism should be ashamed for perpetuating the lies.

Would it have been better if we had waited and fought it later when Saddam was better armed? Like maybe it would be OK if a Democrat was president and we just blindly bombed the civilians from 30,000 feet?

Would major UN leaders like us more if they could still get their bribes from Saddam?

The only dangerous dictator that went away on his own accord in the past couple hundred years, and became harmless, was, well, Moamar Kadafi.

Can you accept a relatively small number of our fighting men and women becoming casualties overseas, compared to most previous US military actions, or would you prefer to let terrorist activities continue to increase until we are fighting for our lives on the streets of America?

You're too young to remember Hitler, who killed MILLIONS of people, not 3000. Saddam admired and copied Hitler. But the terrorist are a little different. They will kill you by sneak attacks, not in open warfare, and they WILL attack America again.

I supported Afganistan and Iraq, then watched in horror as both descended into madness.

Some civilisation we are, hey? Maybe the rest of Europe was right for once

It's NOT about a "war on terror" or "fighting for freedoms". It's REALLY all about THIS!...
