So if Detroit had won the division they would have faced Oakland first instead of the Yankees. Oakland seems to be doing well so far and NY has sucked, lol! Do you think if Detroit had faced Oakland first that they would have been eliminated?
I'm just curious. I was disappointed when they lost the division title but now I'm thinking it may have been a bleesing in disguise.
Any thoughts?

My thoughts exactly. I had been saying that I wanted The Tigers to win The Division because I had thought The Twins would have had a better chance to beat the yankees.
Looking back at last week, I think The Gods of Baseball (and the angel of Destiny) was smiling on The Detroit Tigers.

Hard to say... Detroit's pitchers were on fire, but so were Oakland's. I think it'd have gone 5 and Oakland would've won.

I think the Tigers would have been eliminated if they versed the A's first.

i truely believe that on any given night and team can beat just about anyone, if you want to be the best, you have to attack the best, and that is exactly what the tigers did, i wouldn't bet against them from here on in
