Infidelity, money, sex, and disagreement over children have to be the main causes. Also, marrying too young, and marrying for the wrong reason, such as to get out of the house, or away from Mom and Dad.

People get married for the wrong reasons and then find themselves with people whom they don't want to be with. In addition, many people are great actors and actresses. It can take a little while for the "real" person to come out and when they do, many times a person wakes up next to a stranger.

Unrealistic expectations of what marriage really is. Marriage is not just running through fields of flowers and taking baths together. Marriage is the most important commitment of any persons life, and people who marry too young and immature don't realize this.

Got married to damn young $$, children, sexual problems, 1 or the other partner cheats, abuse, partner goes to jail-neither partner didn't pay close attention to the vows they both took love, honor, cherish, respect, in sickness & health, unto death do us part.
It's like a LOVE=HATE relationship. I hope this helps. Have a good day! :0)
