My fiance is having trouble trying to get the lights to work with his trailer and new truck .Finally got the brake lights to wrk but turnsignals don't work?Any suggestions?

If he has a NEW truck (newer than 1995), he will need a converter box available from U-Haul or from the local discount parts house. The trailer probably uses combination brake / turn signal while the pick-up uses dedicated circuits for each.

if were talking about the trailer lights and the lights on the truck work fine, it's the wiring

Try replacing the fuses. Failing that, the bulbs.

he probably has the wrong bulbs. There are bulbs with a seperate turn signal regulators in them. If he got just regular brakelight bulbs they wont work in the turn signal slot. also check the fuses

try using a test light, it does wonders on tracing light problems.

this is not that hard...brown wire is the brake lights...green is right turn signal...yellow is left turn signal...red is park lights and black is ground wire
